OOC About Dr. Morgan Michaud-Carre
Ganked from WITH THANKS TO IT'S CREATOR, RICH TAYLOR

Mandatory Questions

1. What about you is heroic? At the moment, mostly the will to go on. In future, there might come a time that I would be willing to give more to a cause than time or effort. I am not sure.

2. What about you is social? What do you like about people? I like people in general quite well. I like to talk to them, I like to try to understand them. Of late, I have not been so social, but this will change now, I think. It must. Life goes on.

3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group? My current group would be my patients. I think I am a good doctor. I care, and I try to do what is best for them.

4. Why would you choose to join the current group? It is what I do. I treat people.

5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)?

That depends on how far along Dr. Carre is in objecting to the German presence. She is not happy with it, being French, and somewhat patriotic, yet, she is a doctor, who's taken an oath to first do no harm. Should something convince her that the greater harm would involve not actively resisting Germans, she might make attempts at sabotage, up to and including possible assasinations, poisonings, and even possibly the localized spread of some fell illness.

Personal Questions
1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? Morgan Michaud.
2. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? Not really. My husband was very fond of calling me Madame Doctor Carre.
3. What do you look like? Five seven, slender with a few curves in the right places, very good legs. Very red hair, slightly wavy, though it curls or straightens well, and blue-green eyes.
4. How do you dress most of the time? Of late, in black, and plainly, usually professionally, simply, sensibly. NEVER trampy. I do elegant very well when the occasion calls for it.
5. How do you "dress up?" For formal gatherings, in some very nice gowns. For slightly less formal gatherings, in a nice cocktail dress. Again, nothing trampy.
6. How do you "dress down?" Black and casual would be a simple skirt, POSSIBLY slacks, though rarely.
7. What do you wear when you go to sleep? Either nothing, or a full silk neglige when Chretien was alive. Now, usually in flannel.
8. Do you wear any jewelry? A wedding band, and engagement ring. Sometimes, earings, bracelet, another ring, but only if dressing up a bit. I have a some very nice necklaces and such to go with the gowns.
9. In your opinion, what is your best feature? Probably my hair. It's so very intense.
10. What's your real birth date? 1911, May fourteenth.
11. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.? It is cozy, and well maintained, with more than a small touch of elegance. I keep a town home in Paris. My family home was considerably more elegant, and more formal, but the town home is not completely lacking, just a bit more cozy.

12. Do you own a car? Describe it. I sold it.
13. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? The photograph of myself and Chretien on a picnic in the countryside, not long after we married.

14. What one word best describes you? Determined, generally.

Familial Questions
1. What was your family like? Wonderful. Full of life, and shared knowledge.
2. Who was your father, and what was he like? He was a surgeon of some renknown. He was very supportive of me in wishing to go into medicine beyond nursing. He is retired now.
3. Who was your mother, and what was she like? My mother is a highly educated woman, very kind, also very supportive. She worked as a nurse when she worked. They love each other very much.
4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? Very solid, very loving, a very good example. Yes, they are still married.
5. What were your siblings names? What were they like? Madaleine and Yves.
6. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings? We usually got on pretty well, really. I think the worst was when Madaleine put ink in my powder puff. I tripped her into the fish pond during a formal in retaliation. We did make up.
7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? They are at the family home in the French countryside. I've not seen them all since Chretien's funeral, but we write frequently, and they all at some point came to visit just before the war, Mother and Father together, and brother and sister singly. My brother keeps a place in Paris, and I do see him on occasion, my sister also comes to visit a bit more frequently.
8. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them? Many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and such. Highly. They are good people. I played with many of the other children growing up. We sometimes spent summers together.

5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? Genevieve Dumorne, but really, probably my sister.
6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? There are many, truly. We loved summers and holidays both. My absolute favorites, though, probably involve sitting in the study with my father, looking at the pictures Da Vinci drew of anatomy.
7. What is your worst childhood memory? When Genevieve got polio. She was never the same again, though she did walk after a couple of years.

Adolescent Questions
1. How old were you when you went on your first date? I went to dances, formal, and chaperoned, from the age of 16. My first real date was probably with Chretien, however, when I was in my early-mid twenties.
2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? Authority is fine. I cannot stand abuse of it. There was a teacher who bullied some of the students because she could. I was not one of them, but it still bothered me.
3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? At the girl's academy? All the girls mostly talked of things, but I did have my set of friends. I would not call it a clique, just those who lived closest by, mostly.
4. What were your high school goals? To do well. I did.
5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? My father was my idol. Jaron was my first crush. I do not recall his last name. He was a son of another set of family friends.

3. What are your co-workers like? Do you get along with them? Any in particular? Which ones don't you get along with? Some doctors can look down upon me sometimes for being a woman. Others try to flirt. That can be awkward.
4. What is something you had to learn that you hated? To cook.
5. Do you tend to save or spend your money? Why? I save some, I spend some. I do not do badly, and Chretien left behind a more than modest amount.

Likes & Dislikes Questions
1. What hobbies do you have? Dancing. I also like to bake sometimes, though I do not like to cook.
2. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. It was Chretien. I do have a few young women with whom I am friendly, though...some local nurses, and Chretien's sister, Minuette.
3. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. I really have no enemies, though I rather loathe a certain doctor at the hospital...a surgeon with a true god complex, who can be very rude because I am a woman.
4. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? I like big band music from America very much, and cabaret music, too. I like anything that can be danced to, including the classics.
5. What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? What is a tape or CD? I have a few records.
